Composition

UrgoSterile is a dressing made of a non-woven, extensible polyester backing, coated with an acrylic adhesive mass and a central pad covered by a non-adherent polyethylene mesh.

  • No adherence to the wound due to non-adherent polyethylene mesh

Urgosterile is indicated for the efficient and aseptic protection of the puncture points: parental feeding, biopsy and dialysis. It is also indicated as a dressing for ambulatory surgery, post- and coelio-surgery.

Instructions for use

  • Clean the wound with saline solution.
  • If an antiseptic is first used, rinse the wound thoroughly with saline solution before applying Urgosterile
  • Remove dressing from packaging, then remove backing
  • Apply Urgosterile directly to the wound on a clean and dry skin. Avoid stretching when applying Urgosterile
  • Check and change dressing regularly

Precautions for use

  • In case of suspected infection, seek medical advice.
  • Urgosterile should be stored away from light, heat and moisture.
  • Do not use if sterile protection has been damaged.
